Slavenka Drakulić gave an interview to the Portugese newspaper Global. She talked to the journalist José Fialho Gouveia about her new book of essays published by Penguin Books, “Café Europa Revisited: How to Survive Post-Communism”, and about her books available to the Portuguese public.
She published three books In Portugese:
“As If I Am Not There” (Como se eu nao existisse, 2002), “How We Survived Communism and Even Laughed” (Como Sobrevivemos ao Comunismo sem Perder o Sentido de Humor, 2008) and “They Would Never Hurt a Fly” (Nao Faziam mal a uma mosca, 2008).
